This place has great beer, good prices, SERVICE INDUSTRY NIGHT and other awesome 'night' deals. Oh and the food!!!! Also exceptional and exceptionally priced. Perfect place to go get your chill on. Go talk beer with Neil, he's a great beer dude. There were anonymous people sending free beers to the other patrons last time I was there so the crowd is a good one to be around too! Big parties would easy to accommodate but if you're talking more than 10-15 or so I'd give a courtesy call ahead of you can, it's a brewery so there's usually one or two guys on deck.

Good beer choices but the glasses were a bit small. I love the local beer places and breweries so it's always nice to check out a new one and try new beers. But be prepared to spend money as the beers were not too cheap. Lots of great beer - I tried the summer ale and the orange wheat. Both were awesome. My boyfriend tried two IPAs and liked them both - and they were strong. Delicious! this place is perfect to unwind after a long day. Even has games available to play while you hang out with friends and drink a cold one!

We enjoy coming here for some delicious brew and of course all the games they offer to play. From cornhole, to cards, to super Mario it's always a good time. They have a very decent selection of beer! Good times at St. Pete Brewing Co!

Update: I am updating my review based on the owner's feedback below. I'm still saddened that his employee treated me in such a poor way, but it appears they are dealing with that behavior.

St. Pete Brewing has been a long time coming. It is finally here and it doesn't disappoint. I love that you feel like you are entering a Hobbit hole by walking through the front door that is surrounded by a tree painting. Bonus points. The interior is smaller, but comfortable. There are a decent amount of seats and plenty of neat things to look at. They also have some board games and an old school NES with duck hunt hooked up. The bar is dog friendly and that always leads to some entertainment. I have been drinking the St. Pete Orange Wheat for years at the bar at the Hollander Hotel. It is pretty tasty. We tried several other beers and honestly, they were just okay. I felt like the other three all tasted similar and a little bland in flavor. The one beer that we REALLY wanted to try was tapped out (the Belgian style), so that might change on our next visit. Overall, I had a pretty good first impression of St. Pete Brewing Company. We will be back soon!

Finally tried this DTSP brewery. So glad we did! We went on a dreary Sunday afternoon with our pup. The outside looks so cool. It's a tree mural. Looks awesome. Inside is brand new and very clean and bright. They have 2 normal TVs for sports and one old tube TV for old school video games. My boyfriend loved that part! The beers were good too. I had a pumpkin and a sugar plum christmas beer. They both were tasty and different. The bartender was also really awesome and we enjoyed chatting with her.

Fun little brewery nestled in Downtown St Pete off 1st Ave North with free old school nintendo video games, outdoor seating, and jenga! This place has a sea faring hipster vibe with 2 oars and an anchor on the wall behind the bar, a pelican on all the glasses, and the beer names written on skateboards to the left on the bar. We tried a basket with 4 samplers: Banyan Blond Ale, St Pete Orange Wheat, Pinellas Pale Ale, Milo's IPA and they were all very good! I'm not a fan of the dark beers so I didn't try any of the stouts, Scottish ale or brown ale. Our bartender was very helpful in explaining the different beers on tap and helping us pick out some Brewskies. The bar was not too busy and we got our drinks in a timely fashion. As a bonus, there's a restaurant with great pizza next door. On Wednesday's they have $4 pints. There is plenty of street parking available. Will be going back again! Thanks! :)

With a nice open feel, St. Pete Brewing makes a great stop for a beer or two. The atmosphere is low-key, right off the main drag, and the craft beers are top notch. But my favorite part? They have a Nintendo. With Mario Cart. What could be better than beer and old school Mario Card? I respectfully submit the answer to that is, "nothing." It's great here, and totally worth a stop, although as it is smaller than some of the other microbreweries in the area, it might not be the best place for outdoor seating. Still, c'mon...NINTENDO!

Tried their Scottish Ale last week at Frank & Steins in Winter Park. Very good! Met the Brewer as well, he was in town opening Distribution to Orlando. Great to see another Florida Brewery growing.

Great place with well crafted beers. Good location and fun games to play. Teachers and police get discounts on Thursday and drunk trivia night too!

Cute smaller and newer brewery off the beaten path but still right in downtown St. Pete. I enjoyed the beers we tried here. They had just opened within maybe a month of our (I think May) visit so there weren't a ton of offerings yet but the brewer was behind the bar chatting with customers, there were board (and video) games, the place was clean, the guy pouring the beers was nice, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Cool laid-back decor says Florida without being tacky. Don't pass this one by!

A local favorite! Great beers with inside/outside seating. A great stop if your biking around St Pete. There happened to be some live music on Sunday which added to the ambiance.

St Pete is becoming known for their brewery's, this is probably my favorite of all of them great atmosphere and great beers. So I will first start with the beers I have not tried them all but the ones have had the porters, stouts and some of the seasonal beers are very tasty. The atmosphere is awesome I mean where else can you play old Nintendo games followed by a friendly game of cards against humanity all while drinking some great beer. The service is awesome and the staff is very knowledgable of the different beers. You can buy a growler or even a six pack or two to go. A tip from one of the bartenders go next door to Angelos and order a pint of bacon bring it back to the bar and order a pint of grateful stout dip the bacon and enjoy this delicious treat( It was awesome)!

Just went this past weekend as our second stop on a brewery tour. It was lots of fun. I found the space to be open and welcoming. I liked their pelican mascot and the associated endearing glassware. The staff was generally friendly and open to changing music to fit our upbeat, Saturday afternoon mood. Adele however just wouldn't go away!!They had lots of cool activities including video games of awesomeness! The beer was good as well. I would give closer to 3.5 stars if I could, as I'd give them 3 stars for the facilities themselves. My main complaint involves the mosquitos, as the outside was open. I imagine that it's quite a drain on electricity as well. My other concern, and this is more of an observation, is that I wasn't clear what sort of crowd they were looking to attract. They had lots of cool stuff to do, yet I got the sense that perhaps they wanted something more along the lines of bustling conversations than the elated caterwauling involved in group gameplay + beer.

Great staff and awesome space. It's very open and airy. The beer was ok, the beers I tasted were all very hoppy or bitter, even the wheat. I'm not a big fan of hoppy beer and usually I drink wheat beer because they're not hoppy or bitter. I ended up with the blonde ale because it was least hoppy beer and it had good flavor. I will be back to try other beers and see how this brewery progresses, hopefully they will eventually have a beer that's a little milder.

Brand new brewery in St Pete 1 block over from Cycle. Awesome atmosphere and they have cider for you non beer drinkers! Wide open friendly staff lots of room to stand or sit and outdoor seating.

I was disappointed in this place. It's wide open, bare, barren, boring. They have 5 beers and the day we went were out of one of them. Beers are served In mason jars, although they have regular pint glasses available only upon request. I'm not a redneck on a porch in a rocker, give me a decent beer glass. The woman behind the bar was slow, lost, clumsy. I get the open concept but sweep the floor occasionally, it was dirtier then the sidewalk outside . Flashback to bad 80s music playing . After 2 beers and a boring time we went to green bench where it was much better

This is a great spot away from the crowded over populated drunk side of downtown St. Pete. The beers on tap are delicious, and they have big block Jenga! Win Win!

Nice place, great ambience, great service. Just don't connect with the beer just yet. Hopefully they will improve. Hard to compete with Cycle a block a way. They do take credit cards though.

Nice little spot. I had tried Milo's IPA which was a very satisfying IPA, not so overwhelming on the bitterness compared to a Jai Alai for instance. They offer growlers to take home for $7.50 and a pint of the IPA was $5.50. Overall fairly quiet slot with plenty of seating, long table available for larger parties. They also had a super Nintendo hooked up while I was there. If your in the downtown area and looking for some great local brews don't miss this spot

Nice open atmosphere. Outside seating. Knowledgable staff. Good variety. Games to play with your friends.

Nice clean little place-all the equipment right there to behold. Tried the Orange Wheat-ok kind of a watery Hoegaarden-ok not out of the park-also the Grateful Stout-pretty darn good-and the Milo's which was not completely over-the-top hopped like everyone else is doing these days. Nice crowd-do NOT like the mason jars they use to serve but they gladly gave me a regular pint glass on my request. Nice people. Nice place.

LITTLE WITH A BIG PUNCH Despite being in an area the size of nearby Cycle Brewery (similar in both being like open garages) St. Pete Brewing decided to go with a feel more similar to other nearby, bigger, breweries (aka 3 Daughters) by providing little entertainments such as a (medium-sized) Jenga, board games... and OLD SCHOOL NINTENDO! (With Duck Hunt?! Whoaaaa). There's even a decent collection of Beer-related art adorning the walls as well as a great view of the large drums where the magic is made. TASTING THE BREWS I've always Flights although I noticed the regular-sized brews come in customized Mason jars which isn't tacky but didn't really seem to fit the vibe of the place. However, I've actually enjoyed their Ales more than their Stouts (I normally think of them as being too light and simple as bordering forgettable) but their St. Pete Orange Wheat and Summer Ale had hints of a more complex flavor. For the non-beer fans I noticed a small sign advertising some Craft Soda. MORE THAN A SMILE I thought one particular bartender would be condescending because she was young, good-looking, and by herself but she totally surprised me by treating my young group with smiles and giving equal attention to everyone present. Maybe it's just the times I've gone, but I haven't felt totally relaxed here to just gab, gab, gab aloud with friends. Maybe it's because of the size and not much other noise. Although there's no kitchen, this place is totally open to you bringing your food and encourages orders from the Pizza place next door.

A must do if you are into beer and find yourself anywhere near here. The service is awesome and the atmosphere is super chill and fun. They have old school Nintendo and other blast from the past classic games. Love Milo's IPA. If I lived in the area, I could easily see myself making this place a regular go-to. Definitely check it out if you are in the St Pete/Tampa area.

I liked the atmosphere and the games.... The beer not so much. The pale ale was over carbonated and way to bitter for a pale ale, the orange wheat had no head retention and was on the flat side. The ESB was OK. Hope they step it up.

It's a very cozy, comfortable environment. Friendly staff and good craft beer. The Summer ale is perfect for the season with its citrusy notes. All in all, a nice place to hang out for beers.

Great little brewery hidden between a few stores but a great find! Staff is friendly and helpful. It's exciting to see many breweries popping up here I. Downtown and will come visit once again! If you're looking for something light, tasty, and refreshing be sure to grab a Summer Ale! We will be back for more! P.S. They have a Nintendo 64 that you can play while you hang out! :)

This place is great. This is the only brewery i have not yet checked out in st. Pete so I was very excited to finally check it out and it did not disappoint. The place itself looks very inviting with ample high top chairs and some tables outside. In the back you can see where all the beers are brewed. Neil, The bartender, was great, knowledgeable and funny. Since it was my first time i decided to take the flight of 4 beers. The beers were quite good. My favorite were the scotch ale and the double stout. I loved that most of the names of the beers were related to the surrounding area. I will definitely go back! I also liked that they have different discounts on certain days for different industries such as $1 off for health industry on Thursdays. There are also multiple games you can play, including video games. Go check it out

It's easy to miss St. Pete Brewing Company unless you're on a brew tour or a crawl, but it's worth the quick walk from Cycle brewing. The staff here is very friendly and a little bit more on the laid back side. I feel like this place belongs on a beach instead of in downtown with the way it is opened up. The decor is a little more on the sparse side, but there is plenty of room and it is a very welcome environment. The bar (at least when I was there) seems to cater to a slightly older and more relaxed crowd, but there are video games and ye olde cornhole if you're interested in that sort of thing. Their beers are a little more mainstream than some of the other breweries around, but they do them very well and you can pretty much have your pick of any style you like. The flights are cheap and come in some unique boxes instead of the usual paddle. They also have a few more refreshing options to help you beat the heat. All in all, this is one of my favorite St. Petersburg breweries right now and when I can I don't miss a chance to visit.

Stopped here as part of the Pedal Pub tour. Small brewery but was a fun atmosphere with Nintendo game console, checkers, connect four, cards against humanity and other games available to play. They have an open air space on the sidewalk. Wasn't busy or crowded at all. Not a huge beer drinker so I just had a sip of my friends. Was ok-but again wine is more my thing than beer. Fun place tho to stay and play games!! Clever idea!

A cool hangout with lots of open-air entertainment options splashed against the backdrop of a micro-brewery. House-brewed beers and pretzels were very tasty. Will definitely be back.

Really nice tasting room with gorgeous wood work (made by Local down the street!). Beers were kind of blah. I may have pickled my tongue with hops since I drink mostly hoppy IPAs, but the brews fell a little flat for me. Bartenders knew ZERO about beer (one told me that they were temporarily out of a certain beer, because the Brewer was brewing it in the back. What?!). The ambiance was good, chill, and the Dead playing at a decent volume (bonus for me!). Would come back with hopes of improvement.

We almost passed this place. At night this SHORT PLAZA of St. Pete CAN SEEM FORGETTABLE especially with the busier, more lit Central Ave just a block away. This brewery is as SMALL AS A SMALL STORE and similar in size to nearby Cycle Brewing (yet oh so different in style). With 9-ish styles on tap, I've used flights to sample each one. GREAT FLAVORS here. DECENT VARIETY. As my GF pointed out, a couple of their lighters beers seemed kinda Dogfishy because of their multiple levels of flavor. And what goes great with beer? Pizza! Thankfully there's a neighborly collabo with the PIZZA PLACE NEXT DOOR so you can bring your pizza order inside the brewery. It's always been super super chill inside. FEELS like a NEIGHBORHOOD DIVE. Older, casual gentlemen sitting around the bar cradling their mugs (mason jars) and occasionally making small talk. Somehow it seems strange there's MEDIUM-SIZED BAR GAMES in the back like Jenga. Freakin' awesome-- you can play Duck Hunt in the back! I'm talking OLD NINTENDO SYSTEM Duck Hunt! That makes my night... oh and the beer of course.

Fantastic brewery. No food but they sub-contract with the place next door. Guests were friendly and so was the bartender. Great beer selection and they were very happy to explain the beers to us. We will definitely be repeat visitors.

Popped in for a beer or three and enjoyed each and every one. Plenty of seating games galore to entertain yourself with while you enjoy a beer. Played some old school Nintendo on the TV. Excellent staff there made it a visit worth repeating.

Such great service! Not only did I get a well-described beer moments after standing near the bar, it was also quickly cleaned up, mop and all, by the staff moments after I party-fouled it all over the table. Better yet, the bartender refilled the spilled glass. Prices were very modest for home-brewed beers and the beautiful interior. Only downside is that the closest bike rack was across the street in the dark or a block down. But probably because it was early enough and there wasn't too much of a crowd, they even let me roll my bike into the bar!

There's a new brewery in St Pete and it's amazing. St Pete brewing co has been in the works for some time and I am glad to see them open. Everyone working there was very friendly, the atmosphere is great. I had Milo's IPA and the orange wheat. Both beers were very good, and they don't seem to fit into the typical IPA or wheat beer realm. You can tell the brewer loves his job and puts a lot of effort into it. I am not a big wheat beer fan but I have to say that this was the best wheat beer I've had. I highly recommend this place! Go support your local brewery!

Out of all the St Pete breweries we tried today St Pete was our favorite. Their selection was wide and the beers tasty. They feature a N64 and various other games for those looking to relax while trying the 12 beers on tap. Would definitely return.

St Pete Orange Wheat is nice but all are definitely hoppy. People are very nice owner accommodating
